Emerging Diseases

• Equine Corona Virus
  • This is a contagious GI disease which previously only affected foals, but is now causing disease in adult horses.  We have had patients sickened by this virus and are keeping this in mind for any horse exhibiting fever, inappetence, and lethargy during the winter and spring.
